Silly Title, Powerful Content
The title may sound silly, but this book is deeply spiritual.
It is actually the book that inspired Rhonda Byrne’s The Secret.
This is a well-known book to those who follow the “New Thought” authors from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
It has been instrumental in my personal spiritual journey. It is my hope that you find it equally beneficial in yours.
Note: Mr. Wattles wrote this during a time when the language was archaic and general references were masculine. However, I do not believe for a moment that he thought of men as being superior to women. He even addresses the reader in his Preface that his book is meant for “men and women.”
In this online version, I am currently changing the archaic use of masculine references to generic references—but I’m not done yet. Any words I have changed are in maroon type. Please understand that nothing written herein by the original author was directed toward or applied to only a subset of humanity. This teaching is true for all of us.
Be well. Be positive. Be grateful.
